It's a good album.

A very good album indeed. 40 oz. is no longer punk. I heard one of his songs on TV the other day, nigga sold out.
I just got this album, and this track sticks out like a sore thumb. I can't believe you only gave it a 3/5 - I'd say it's the best on the album.

Anyway, the whole album is great, but 4 tracks stick out as something really special - April 29, Santeria, Seed, and Under My Voodoo. Out of those, April 29 REALLY sticks out.
Yeah, I think I've changed my mind on that song as well. It's a lot better than I thought, but I think the reason it stuck out like a sore thumb for me is because it's the most "gangsta rap" song on the album, and I was sick of hearing it from so many other sources at the time. Now I've collected myself and learned to appreciate it again!

you picked a good cd to review, from one of the best bands to grace the world. (id say such a cd deserves a little more in depth coverage on the review though.) 40 oz. to freedom is definitely sublimes best album to date, but at the same time, this cd has some of their best songs. i cant put in words how it feels everytime santeria hits me. i gotta touch a little on garden grove, great funky/reggae sorta groove. awesome song just to kick back to, although the last minute or so is pretty repetetive. and please dont fail to mention under the voodoo. great cd, not their best, but a great cd. ps i had to throw this in, i did think ydload did a better review on the cd. i just didnt say so before.

Read the whole thread, juggalo "I bumped thirty CD reviews today" tricksta. I did a review toward the end of the first page, and it mentions the best song on the album, Under My Voodoo.

ydload i did read the whole thread and i agree with a lot of what you have to say. not just on this but on other threads ive seen you post on. you have strong opinions i think thats cool. i wasnt saying people forgot to mention under the voodoo, i was trying to say i think its a rad song that deserves mentioning. sorry if i came off the wrong way. the reason i posted so much in one day is i just finally was able to register. i havent had internet for a long time. but i like what you have to say.
