Catching up on the cringe discourse about these guys and it's making me nostalgic for pre-internet brain poisoning times when you could just be a weirdo without a bunch of miserable social media users commenting on everything. Not that these guys weren't poked fun of back in the day, but it didn't have the near-religiously hateful zeal that comes with modern internet culture and anyone who dares to be a little weird or different.
