My least listened to CT album and not sure why really. Thankfully repeated listens today reminded me this is so good. Whilst its feet are firmly still in Garlands territory, it’s arms are reaching out expanding its sound. Tracks 1-4 are all 4.5 at least - such an amazing opening few songs. Next 4 experiment more but lose me to be honest, before closing out with two great tracks. Climax to Musette and Drums!! I still prefer Garlands overall even with its focused and limited approach in style and sound. It’s a close one though and this has stronger individual tracks.
