yea, I saw Silent Civilian live on their first tour, they're generic but not too bad. I'd like to see him do something with Spineshank again, just to switch it up.

The thing is, the 'Shank haven't really [i]done/I] anything since they declared they'll release a new album in '10. Either I'm bad at keeping tabs on the band, or it's just Santos who's holding things back.

I'm all in when it comes to a good nu-metal release. Will definitely check this one out. Pos'd.

why don't they just make you a contributor already.

Yeah I caught them (Spineshank) last year with Bury Your Dead, and they killed it. Santos however is focusing more on metalcore then anything related to nu-metal.

I still dabble in Nu-metal every now and then, so I'll definitely give this a go. Also you'd better have a review for the new Nonpoint album when its released, I need to know if that shits good or not.

Still improving I see ;)
Great job and congrats on the feature.

Also you'd better have a review for the new Nonpoint album when its released, well it's kind of obvious I'll do it right the second the album is released ;)
Thanks Alex and yeah, constant improvement is my moto. Sky's not the limit for me haha

Spineshank was sick back in the day and i used to love nonpoint. I've heard Silent Civilian and when i first listened to them they didn't sound too bad but they were pretty generic.

Dont get all full of yourself now hahahaha, yeah I guess my last post does read kind of cocky, but what I wanted to point out is that I'm always evolving further. Wasn't trying to boast my own ass about anything else just so you guys know =)
Zip: well, they're not for everyone. Did you like the Cry Little Sister cover though? I remember you liked that Ventana album, and they had a cover of that song too.

Everyone seems to be covering Cry Little Sister lately....
|

haha I remember Nu Metal... One of my faves back in those days was Nothingface,Mudvayne LD50 was quite above a lot of the albums in that genre also IMO.

I'm digging it right now. The whole album is solid, but it gets really interesting towards the end. Cry Little Sister and Sold Me Out are my favorite tracks at the moment.

Sold Me Out is like the song that tons of bands have tried, but only a few have succeeded.

This is by no means a 4. Sure it has some interesting hooks but quite bland nonetheless...........

I don't know. I lost my interest after a few spins. It has very little lasting power for me.
