Planet of Ice is a 5 for me, this prolly won't surpass that but I hope this doesn't disappoint, hope if gets the 4 or above from me. Listening today. Solid review, good length, but a little to redundant in word usage, bus besides that, good job.

good review, i agree with most of what you wrote upon first listen,

this album surprised me but it was a good surprise, gonna give it a week before i rate though, minus albums tend to either seem really amazing at first and then get weaker, or vise versa

Decent album. 3 or 4 good tracks, the rest is meh.

Also, I don't understand how you wrote a review after owning the album for less than a day. Pretty silly.

The review is a pretty accurate look at the album regardless. He did a good job, just hold off next time for at least a few days.

Excuses is the perfect song to end a mix tape for a girl that put you in the friend zone. Thanks Minus the Bear!

Fucking love this album. To me it feels like the side of them we didn't hear so much on Planet of Ice, but that was always there.

Do they really take Into The Mirror and flip it backwards for Animal Backwards?!?!?

I don't wanna rate this till I've had it a while, but I don't like it, which sucks because I love(d?) this band.

You can't stop liking a band because of one album you don't enjoy. And what don't you like about it?

That's not necessarily true, I completely lost interest in all music by The Fall of Troy after their third straight mediocre release, but that's not really a point worth arguing.

Anyway, I still love Minus the Bear, this just disappoints me. It feels flat and kind of detached, like the album is happening, but I'm not a part of it. It doesn't engage me at all.

Oh wait, you said one album. Either way though, it was just a joke.

I've had Planet of Ice and Menos el Oso for over a year now and I haven't really been able to get into either of them. I've always found the vocals to sound really glazed over and dull, and like the person above with this album, neither of those albums can really engage me like Highly Refined Pirates does.

That being said, OMNI sounds almost like a return to form in my ears. Obviously it's not a step back to their older sound, but it's the most interesting music I've heard from them since their debut.
