^ exactly. I'd enjoy Muse a hell of a lot more if his lyrics actually said anything. Billie Joe writes some awful one-liners, but at least it seems like he's trying. Bellamy's lyrics have been getting progressively worse (Uprising is just embarassing) as the music gets bigger and bigger...bad combination...

Did anyone watch the video? It's some guy who sounds like the Texan from the Simpsons hitting on Matt Bellamy.

Good review. I agree to most of it. Except i think "Undisclosed Desires" is one of the best tracks off of this album. And yes, i've heard everything Muse has made. I love them. And no, this is not an album of the same quality as Origin of Symmetry or Absolution. But i think it deserves to be considered in the same league as Black holes and Showbiz. I don't understand how anyone can consider this as a 2?! It's a 3, at least. No, it's not the same genre as their previous, but still great music. Poppy, but great.

I liked it, but it made every other album sound like Absolution, even if some are only point five ahead.

I have to agree with the people who say the Exogenesis Symphony makes the album, but honestly, I fail to understand why the album as a whole is getting a lot of hate. This is Muse being different.
Sure, their previous releases have a lot of pleasing heavy guitar riffs, but there's no written rule that says Muse should stick to that formula; and if they did stick to that formula, well, it would eventually be seen as nothing more than a formula, anyway. I, for one, am glad they're experimenting.
That said, I do concede that this album has a weaker offering in comparison to many of their previous releases. "Guiding Light" is rather disappointing, the slow portion in the middle of "Unnatural Selection" throws the song out-of-whack, and "MK Ultra" could definitely be better. That's all I can say flaws-wise.
At any rate, I harbor great anticipation for Muse's upcoming album. Matt Bellamy called it "christian gangsta rap jazz odyssey with some ambient rebellious dubstep and face melting metal flamenco cowboy psychedelia"; if that doesn't wet your palate, I don't know what will.

This album gets bumped very rarely.
This album only gets bumped by people who actually like it (for what ever reason).
This album is not well received by our community.
I implore you to please stop bumping this horribly average album and listen instead to one of their better ones. Go listen to Showbiz, it is lonely.
