On this site, yes. I have what I call my "vanity" reviews (this band's reviews, In the Nursery, etc). I write them for me and the random people who find them through google because I know none of the regulars here actually listen to them. hey
i like Weather. The Most Beautiful Song is awesome

Most of the album isn't as upbeat. Go to their Myspace and check out "Everything Means Nothing", "How Could I Tell You" and
"Born to be Sad" (at least Everything Means Nothing).
Mike! I thought you disappeared, though. You posted that Helloween review and never ever posted on it.

If you really like this then I'd highly suggest checking out all of their albums, but especially Weather.

Will do, but I gotta tell you Willie, the song titles themselves aren't exactly upbeat nor possitive.

ha ha, that's what I was saying. Most of the album isn't as upbeat as "People Hurt People".
Chambered, have you heard Lene Marlin?

Cool. I guess there are more people that like them than I thought. It's just that the first few reviews I did for this band had like a grand total of six or seven comments (although I did them when I first got here).

Mike! I thought you disappeared, though. You posted that Helloween review and never ever posted on it. That isn't true!
i'm just shy :X

I love your first comment Willie. "she's pretty easy on the eyes". Nice way to put it! ;-)
I remember seeing a video by the band on MTV ages ago, might check this one out. Nice review!

It's true, ha ha. I'll admit that it was that Delerium video that she's in that got me to check out this band. It kind of gives you extra incentive ;) I saw a video of theirs once in Italy, but never here in the states.

Very enjoyable, easy read, Trey. I have to say though, while I enjoyed your review, I also felt that given its content it deserves a higher rating than 3.5.

having listened to the whole album a couple of times, I'd say 3.5 feels just about right.

Very enjoyable, easy read, Trey. I have to say though, while I enjoyed your review, I also felt that given its content it deserves a higher rating than 3.5. It's still growing on me. Had I written this with two more weeks under my belt (this wasn't supposed to be released until the end of the month) it very well could be a four.
I'm glad people are actually checking this out, though.

Had a listen and i'll admit that its better than some of their last albums. But as I was listening the first thing that went through my head was that Late Night Alimni are doing this ame type of sound, and better

I'd have to disagree. I would say their sound is closer to Delerium, but not Lunik. Lunik never got as uptempo with the dance beats. They always stayed kind of mellow, trip-hop type stuff… and they're definitely not similar on this album, I'd say.

There's a few laid back tracks on each of their albums. I wouldn't say they sound completely similar but just a few things here and there tend to remind me of Alumni

Oh Ok. Maybe on Lunik's first two, but I don't hear any after that.
|
| |
@Willie: Isn't Lunik a Swiss or Austrian band? Maybe they're on in Italy because of the short distance.

excellent review Trey
pop music...bleh haha. Actually did still listen to People Hurt People and I wouldn't mind it if it'd come from the radio.

Has anyone noticed how Damrod's avatar occasionally... blinks? or is that just me?
