pop-punk like saves the day's earlier work gets pretty repetitive after a few albums. this was a welcome switch to different sounds.

yeah, i listened to it a couple months ago (not extensively) and thought it was pretty good. i listened again yesterday and thought it was brilliant. i'm thinking about bumping it up to a 5.

This album is so fucking good and so criminally underrated, it's just like the Pinkerton situation from back in the 90's. One day (hopefully) more people will realize what a gem it is and appreciate it a little more. Its like candy for my ears!
