don't even understand my own reasons
maybe (grating slogans) + (no harmonic elements to the music) but that doesn't explain it cos I like a lot of the dumbest DAF songs from those big three albums
might just not be messy enough? like it's not nerdy or punky or experimental, they just proceed directly to ultraheavy motivational beat
even on that 1983 album where they can barely play there's nothing going on, like 100% skeletal music
