Kettering was on Chuck last night. It was epic.
There was also another good song on that episode and I can't think of it... oh yeah! Bye Bye Bye by Plants and Animals.

i dug the review alex, i'd keep the twinkle twinkle thing in even if no one else quite gets it because it is relevent to your opinion (childishness?). everytime i read about this i feel like i get one reason to listen and another not to.

Also important to the album's success is the fact that it sounds good
"sounds" italicized reads weird
tells the story of a man losing a loved one to cancer, not only having to deal with her complaints and unstable feelings towards him, but also inflicting on himself the pain of watching her die.
this part of the sentence reads weird
As well, integral to enjoying Hospice is recognition of the fact that it works brilliantly as an album,
"album" italicized reads weird
thereyago

ok i dont mean to 'reject' your criticisms (i agree with the second one though) but both of those italicizedisms are because i wanted to accent those two and i'm not sure how else i would do it
because with the first instance ('sounds') i am directing attention away from the lyricism and towards its sound; i want to make a point that it sounds good (see?) as well as reads well (in terms of lyricism).
the second one ('album') is a little less obvious, so maybe ill go ahead and see what i can do with that, but it's kind of the same thing (though i am not directing attention really away from anything as much as -stressing- the importance of how well it works as a single work what with the narrative and those themes i described)
but thanks anyway, i'll probably end up fixing/changing that section of the sentence because it is pretty cumbersome

yeah I understand, I would just suggest taking that sentence out though just because I don't like it. I mean, it's like saying, "In addition, central to the success of this painting is the fact that it looks good." Well duh
