I can't stop listening to the Sign of the Southern Cross today. One of Dio's finest vocal performances.

Sure thing. His best is probably Heaven and Hell.

Good review. Although i love the riff of Country Girl and Voodoo is one of my favorites songs from Dio's era. The mixing part ir actually confusing, some may think that you were relly talking about "Mob Rules", and those who don't know about the true history will belive in that.

Personally, I think this is the best Sabbath album and it's one of my all time favourite records, it always surprises people when I say that.

Otherwise, great review.

Iommi's lead on the title track is pretty good.

think i like this nearly as much as H&H, nothing on here as good as neon knights, die young and heaven and hell but it's more consistent overall

"Turn up the Night" and "Voodoo" are weak tracks. Aside from these two the rest of the album is pretty

solid.

Voodoo rules. Slipping Away is the only slightly weak track

Slipping Away is the weakest yeah (not counting the interlude E1dsfn) and Voodoo is grreat. Best one is Sign of the Southern Cross and then Falling Off the Edge imo

Good review, but I feel the (constant) fluctuation between the pros and cons gets distracting. Here's what I would've done:

-intro and thesis

-brief history that is relevant to the topic (optional)

-the pros and ONLY the pros (you can do cons first if you chose)

-the cons and ONLY the cons (you can do pros second if you chose)

-conclude

Your reviews are good, and this is only a suggestion.

Good album too!

I slightly prefer this to Heaven and Hell.
