This is an alt rock band. They could also be called pop rock. They are anything but emo (you obviously haven't a clue of what emo is), and crap isn't even a genre. Don't be a dumbass.

I hated this album. "Stars" was a good song, but the rest just never appealed to me. I loved The Beautiful Letdown so much more than this.

There's some definite filler on here but this is a really enjoyable album. It was my favorite CD ever when I was younger.
