Great Review man. Excellent Job. I'm a big Incubus fan and I'll say that this album is one of their best, if not the best.
This album sounds cool, ive heard heaps good things about it. Is it like any incubus albums out yet? Thought: The pringles guy looks like the guy on the cover on S.C.I.E.N.C.E... check it out. Who is that guy anyway?
that man is chuck (i can't spell his last name), and i like to think of him as a mystery. even though he resembles brandon and people think he's his father, there really is no evidence further than that, and there's a ton of myths about him. check out some incubus fan sites and you'll see what i'm talking about.
regarding science, i love that album. i think it's the one where incubus kind of starts to find themselves (let's face it, fungus amongus was really just a homage to incubus's favorite bands), and it's definetely in my top album list.

I own all thier CD's cept the EP and I find this the best. I love the sound of it, I love the sound of all thier albums but this takes the cake. And whats wrong with listening to Korn? Don't say people that listen to Korn have bad taste in music. I know my music tastes are great, and Korn is up there on my list, along with the Peppers, The Clash, AC/DC, Incubus, Cake, Audioslave, Greenday, Chevelle, Greatful Dead, Zepplin, Toadies, Lost Prophets, Ben Folds Five, Everclear, The Vines, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, ahh screw it this would take forever, I'm not even into the older stuff, or the lesser known stuff.

(EDIT:Sorry for the double post, but it was after 24 hours)
Yay, i got it burnt for me!
Favourite tracks
1. Redefine
2. Certain Shade of Green
3. Idiot Box
4. Vitamin
5. Glass
6. Favourite Things
7. Magic Medicine
These are the only tracks i really enjoy. Not many people like magic medicine but with the lyrics "On this page, you see a little girl giggling at a hippopotmus, i wonder why? youve gotta love it. Definetly more scratches than Killmore by life and those wiered voices that seem recorded from televiosion shows from the 60's. Ill add more later. 4/5 :thumb:

Album Rating: 5.0

i would give it a 5/5 myself.
Calgone, how can you say that the last 12 minutes are boring? have you heard the little song at 14:39, that song is awesome
break it down, dum dum dum du du dum.

S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is amazing. it is definetly incubus's best CD. it has so many different elements to it and the songs just blow me away. definetly a 5/5.

Bloody Brilliant CD :thumb:

I borrowed this cd from a friend. Because of this cd I have never been much of an Incubus fan. With all the kudos S.C.I.E.N.C.E. had gained, I thought I might like the cd. Boy was I wrong! Most of the songs are too loud and too ludicrous. They sound as if they were written in a drunken stupor. I was very dissappointed with Incubus. The only ones I found to be be any good were "Idiot Box," "Summer Romance," and "Summer Romance." And I remember "Nebula" and "Calgone" being atrocious songs.
2/5

you know, i just checked the tempo of all of the songs, and actually idiot box is the slowest track on here. anyway, great review.

Hmm I never really liked Incubus. They always sounded boring to me (especially the singer's voice, it just bores the fukc out of me). But recently I heard "Talk Show Host". It's not a bad pop song. But they're not really rock, just another boy band.
RHCP pull of the funk **** way better. And FLEA is God.

S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (wow what a ****ed annoying title to type) is a pretty decent record. Dirk proves himself to be a more than capable bassist on this record. he goes nuts on a Certain Shade of Green. id give this cd 3.5/5.

A certain shade of green, wow, iv enjoyed listening to this cd once and a while, got it when it came out and iv always enjoyed hearing shade of green and favorite things when i feel like some harder rock. good stuff and good review on certain shade of green.

It's the album that got me into them in the first place, and for me, it can't be beat by Morning View and A Crow Left Of The Murder. Deep Inside and Summer Romance are brilliant! Great review. It's not perfect, but if you're looking for the band's best work, look no further.
|
| |
A really good album, i'd give it 4.5/5
Favourite tracks: Certain shade of green, summer romance, nebula, vitamins, new skin
It's full of great funk metal songs, although i prefer crow left of the murder to this album

:thumb: :thumb: i think that's gotta be the best review for that cd ever. Yes, the band was really at the apex of imagination when they made that cd.
