as far as cover albums go, this is pretty awesome. linoleum, skyscraper, and birds flying away are my three favorites

It's a great album, but it gets boring after a while.

They killed 'Just Great Heights' live. Might have to get this CD just to hear it again.

this album is under-rated. This is the most top-notch cover album I've ever heard.

I don't dislike a single song. You may call me some hardcore fan with a lot of bias, but I seriously adore the whole album.

Part of a larger covers project from multiple bands, '99 Songs of Revolution: Volume I' sees New Jersey's Streetlight Manifesto give the ska punk treatment to an array of well-known tunes. A mixed bag, some songs are given a boost of energy & enthusiasm, while others lack the musical intricacy & involving lyrics the septet feed off. Wisely kept tight at 33 minutes in length, Streetlight's versatility is put to the test here. More a curiosity than a successful release, this album is ultimately some harmless fun, even if it's nowhere near the quality of their 2 original releases. Recommended Tracks: Hell, Such Great Heights, Just & Birds Flying Away.
