"The tale about the devil coming to and eventually wreaking havoc in a small Western town..."

I was available for hire. All they needed to do was call.

Piece by Piece is my fave song off of this. The strings works is just beautiful. They should also try to add in a few moer horn lines like in The Dark Streets Below. Terrific album.

Loving this so far. Turla's voice isvery different than on earlier albums. It sounds like he aged 20 years. And he already sounded older than he is.

Please accept my apologies, Chan. I've been reading a book of quotes and your summary seemed eerily familiar. I thought that I had read it in the book, but as it turns I'd read it on this very site.

Anyways, I'm sorry. The criticism was not out of malice, as it appears other (perhaps yourself included) have thought; it was merely criticism. In any case, as I said before, it was a good review.

This just reminds me I need to get another MBD album, I've only heard Who Will Survive... I don't think it will be this though.

First two albums are the best, however I still haven't listened to this album, so how can I judge D:

the production is horrid, especially considering some of their past albums and how well they sounded.

So the production is the same on the actual CD? Damn I thought it was just the shitty rip I was listening to. Anyway... this is pretty good, I don't think I'll ever like it as much as my favorites from the band (which would be Red Of Tooth And Claw and Like The Exorcist) but after the first couple of songs it's really good stuff.
