Sorry you felt you needed to break up the lovefest but I agree... I wouldn't say it's my worst review but it's nothing special. I just really wanted to review this honestly.

tbh the review was good, I just wanted my 3000th comment to ruin something.

Album Rating: 4.5

"Reconstruction Site" is pretty damn close to being one of my favorite songs of all-time.

THIS. I really need to see/hear this now.

yeah, this didn't turn out too fanboyish, and since I haven't seen the DVD I can't comment on the rating, though judging from the live CD I have a hard time considering this a 5. I mean, it's great and all, and I love The Weakerthansm, but it doesn't rank up there with the classic live albums I feel. I don't know, I need to listen to more and watch the DVD. My favourite part of their live show when I saw them was when they played a song off Fallow in the encore using only casio keyboards' programmed beats. Hilarity ensued.

bhoy: haha it's funny you said that just now... I JUST thought to myself in the morning this probably shouldn't be 5, pretty random but I agree. It's a fantastic compilation of Weakethans songs, and it's as good as it could've been, but I think the format has certain boundaries in terms of quality.

wow, i read the review before seeing who wrote it and it was so well done, I assumed it was a staff review. Good Work Sir!

Oh and I'm new to the weakerthans and want to get into them, and this review makes me think I should just go ahead and start with this cd.
