Listened to it the first time and it´s A LOT better than the current effort of KSE.

I actually don't think it's any better than KsE's 2009 s/t. It's heavier, and maybe better from a metalcore perspective, but the songwriting on KsE's last one was pretty top-notch. It just didn't have any "wow" type moments, or extremely memorable riffs or breakdowns. But melodically speaking, it might have been their best effort yet. My opinion, obviously.

I think this album is a good starting point, some of the solos sounded a bit forced, but I'd say if they do another album it will be killer!

I love this album musically (especially the last 2 tracks), and as such I fail to comprehend why the lyrics insist on being so terrible.

Just had a thought. I wonder why these guys aren't being lumped in with the "djent" scene right now. I mean, they have most of the elements-mathy riffing, polyrhythmic Meshuggah-inspired drumplay, downtuned 8-string sounds, jazzy influences and chords, harsh/clean vocal transitions.
Either way, can't wait for the new EP.

This one doesn't do much for me except a handful of good moments. The Hymn of a Broken man destroys this.
I listened again and it turned out to be pretty fun, still a 3.5 for me though.
And man does "These Colors Bleed" have a good vibe. The chorus doesn't fit well but is made up for by the song as a whole.
