i think this one tends to not really stick with people because its SO focused on evolving each tiny little element of the songs at a time, almost to the point where you dont even notice that somethings changing.

but then you listen closely and realize how much is actually changing and morphing and it gets all cool and shit.

just a lot darker and more subtle

This feels uncharacteristically weary in terms of emotions even by their standards, it makes it a lot more complex in terms of emotional responses than the rest of their discography I think
