yeah, the difference being that when you post a review, other users are generally encouraged to post comments. whereas the reviewer incessantly bumping their review is generally not encouraged.

Serious question, how much indie music have you really listened to?
|

Lol. Newb bashing, that's classy.
You spelled "delirium" wrong, by the way. ;)

Honestly. not very much I dislike the genre as a whole.

That doesn't really make any sense.

I haven't liked any of the scattered indie i've listened to okay

Admittedly, most ICP fans are too sophisticated for indie.

Figures. It just seems like you don't quite get the musical context of this album, and you're sort of criticizing it for precisely the things it's got going for it. Felt the same way about Kid A before I realized its like the best album ever. Idk, go listen to these
Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It In People
The Arcade Fire - Funeral
Blonde Redhead - 23
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One
The National - Boxer
and come back if you still don't like it then oh well.

I copy and pasted though so I'll check a few out, anyways g2g everyone, I love you all very much.

I find this album overrated but I don't think it's anywhere near 1.5 material.

I really miss that guy.

You are missing a lot of comma's. You couldn't be more wrong about "Exit Music (For a Film)." The song is meant to put you into a trance and scare the shit out of you. I was surprised that you didn't mention "Fitter Happier."
Also, why would I want to listen to Coheed in heaven?

While one person may wholeheartedly adore a band such as The Beatles there will be always be a handful who feel that they were a popular band because of their radio friendly hits and that their simplicity places them in the ranks of present day popular bands such as Nickleback who also enjoy mass popularity due to the fact that their music is simple and requires little thought.
i think that says a lot about the general context you've missed here
i admire the effort though

I was close to negging but I didn't. You have several grammatical errors but for the most part you did a good job getting your point across. Now, I can somewhat symphathize because I used to hate indie music and when The Great Milenko came out when I was 16, I thought it was the coolest thing ever, and I see you have it at a 5.
That said, OK Computer is the first indie record I could stand, and now to me it is a near masterpiece with the only shortcoming being the second half does drag slightly. I agree that a portion of Radiohead's work is overrated, but this isn't it.

On second thought, I think I do like this dude. Maybe his reviews will get people excited so this site isn't as boring.
