bought this today and it is already pushing ( ) to be my fabvourite sigur album. Gong and Glosoli both stood out upon a first listen. Its so different yet similar to the other albums, i love it.

From what I've heard of this album, I actually like it better than I do ( ). I just recently fell in love with ( ), though, and I haven't even heard the whole of this album, so who knows. I ordered it from Amazon four or five days ago, but I'm in a hurricane area, so I have no idea if they're going to deliver it any time soon.

I bought this album last Sunday.

First I heard Saeglopur online somewhere, I forget.

Then I watched the Glosoli video and I knew I had to buy the album.

I was so happy when I found it, the only one, behind some other muck... at Wal-Mart at 1 in the morning.

Perhaps the fact that I've listened to Hoppípolla 20 times in 4 days (literally) means something... ;)



Oh, my singular gripe with this album was the choice to put "Heysátan" at the very end. It just doesn't feel like a finisher to me. But that's just nitpicking now... and aside from that one insignificant thing (I have no problem with the orchestrations, I, actually, heavily enjoy them) this album blew me away.

I've been listening to this for awhile now.. I like it way better than ( ) at this point. It's far more interesting, and the instruments are more varied and nice-sounding. The production is far better, too. ( ) had a lot of dry, boring parts in the album, whereas this is pretty much straight-ahead goodness.

The annoying "euseyealoe" doesn't appear on this album, either.

Nuh uh, because that would mean it has lyrics.
