It may not be your taste or many others, I'm simply trying to figure out why since I've highly enjoyed every song on this album since I bought it.

Really, This album is nothing special, just like the flobots. Average run-of-the-mill crap we get every day. This album comes across as the opposite of what they are saying, which doesn't have much depth. It epitomizes the word "irony".

I like the Flobots because they are actually trying to something instead of just complain. For instances they have a website called flobots.org which is used to do positive things in their community. Also Jonny 5's rhymes are unreal, check him out on Youtube with the rap "Zero to Five." Though I agree with Survival Story being overproduced as I prefer the raw sound that Fight With Tools had.

I'm gonna have to go with ProjectOfFailure as this is the most disgustingly ignorant review i've seen. Its not as though im writing on this just to point names and name fingers (I watched the new pirates of the Caribbean) i am really disappointed in your lack of the ability to appreciate this music. They're not talking about banging Ho's or complaining, they're pointing out problems and expressing ideas, if you cant take the music as a set of ideas that they want you to hear, and immediately jump to the conclusion that because REAL musicians are playing CREATIVE beats unlike most of hip hop which just uses a drum machine, then you should figure out how to listen to music while using half of your brain. Sadly for you, i doubt this will happen.

I just don't understand how anybody could rate this a 1. I've never really ranked anything that low before, unless it's incredibly obvious that the band just doesn't give a shit about the quality of their music. Flobots really do show evidence of caring; just listen to the intro of Airplane Mode. This album certainly has its weak points, but I don't believe this band to be worthy of the heaps of criticism they receive on this website.
Plus, White Flag Warriors is insanely catchy!

Oh for fucks sake. There is a rapper that uses his brain and live drums and doesn't come off as trying too hard, and he is POS. This album is full of half-baked ideas and terrible vocals.

The vocals aren't my favorite, but I really like the musical aspect more than anything. Defend Atlantis is an example of a song I really enjoy thoroughly, really catchy. These guys may have vocals that you aren't a fan of, but I just don't see how they compare to other bands deemed as awful on this website. brokencyde and Flobots on the same level? I just don't see it.
