Really vibing Foley’s performance here today. Understand and respect his decision to simplify things for Killswitch, especially given how self effacing he is about his capabilities, but his chops and composition here are both tasteful and idiosyncratic. His constant change ups do a lot to play around the groove instead of straight on it, which gives this release a level of dynamism absent in its contemporaries.
