really accurate review. there were quite a few points where i though 'this is decent,' but like you said, everything was frighteningly forgettable. i genuinely cant remember a single note.

Didn't Monster have some pretty bad attempts at 'gruff' backing vocals in it?

Steve McQueen was an awesome song but it was an average album and I don't have high hopes for this

DaveyBoy: YCI:M split with Paul, he was the fulcrum of the band so they weren't gonna continue without him. I'm hopeful they may get back together at some point

"I was the teenage Steve McQueen, my best performance escaped me"

Thanks Ali. Man, I'm on synch with your opinions of late. One day you'll surprise me & say I'm just damn wrong! :-)

"Didn't Monster have some pretty bad attempts at 'gruff' backing vocals in it?" Totally opposite to gruff for me. More of a squeal. That's Alex Pennie.

"Steve McQueen was an awesome song but it was an average album and I don't have high hopes for this" If you thought that album was average, stay right away from this!

"YCI:M split with Paul" Thought that may have been the case. Definitely wasn't worth it.

Thanks Rosco. This bunch of boringness has got me excited for the new Scouting For Girls LP. Haha.

Oh God. I mean its bad but still I'd prefer this to anything Scouting for Girls have done so far.

Don't comment until you've heard their new album. We wouldn't want to throw objectivity totally out the window Rosco.

That's why I said so far ;-)

Anyway, I'm waay more objective than you. A whole percent more apparently.

Haha. I blame Alkaline Trio's discography for that.

Or the fact you dislikegiving low ratings. Heck even an awful album like In This Light And On This Evening got a 2 from you...

haven't listened to it in a long time, i think they got better once Paul Mullen joined the band, their debut full lenght had some cheesy songs

Cheesy, but catchy. Whereas here, they are just like any other amatuer band tbh. Not necessarily bad, but oh so meh.
