I honestly think this album musically is extremly good, even if you don't liek the vocals. The guitar riffs and keyboards and bass make a great atmosphere on this album.

This is HIM's worst album... and I am a HUGE HIM fan (long in their days when they couldn't afford the name HIM in the states and refered to themselves as HER). This album was just so bleh. I still gave them a 3.5 because what was good off this album (funeral of hearts, soul on fire, fortress of tears, circle of fear and the path) was awesome. most tracks (imo) are skippable.
I know one of the most popular tracks was Buried Alive By Love but i find it so boring and out off place for this album. I guess that's just me.

actually, they were formed in '91. but broke up due to the members's military services. I am one of them who has written a great deal on the HIM article on wikipedia. I am a hardcore fan, and know my shit :P
if you don't believe me - read Synnin Viemaa. though I doubt you'll understand it, as it is only released in Finnish.
and the song's called "The Sacrament", not "The SacrEment".
