And the rain will kill us all
Throw ourselves against the wall
But no one else can see
the preservation of the martyr in me

Review is decent enough, album is pretty meh to me

Based on everyone's comments, I actually agree with most for once. The first six tracks were always my favorites when I loved the band, but now Scissors and Prosthetics are probably my current favorites. But in all honesty, Iowa has always been my favorite Slipknot album. It was the heaviest and most consistent in style and quality, plus the title track was a great way to close the album.

"I KNOW WHY YOU PLAAAAAGUE MEEEEE, I KNOW WHY YOU PLAAAAGUE YOURSE-ELF!"

Wrong album lol.

A more appropriate lyric could've been, "I AM THE GREAT BIG MOUTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

It took me like 2 years to realize that Purity was an actual song on this album, and another few years to realize that the basis of that song was a hoax.

Purity is a song that may or may not be on some copies of this album, depending on when it was purchased. It's either Purity or Me Inside, depending on the era of the print.

I think the "secret" song you might be thinking of is Eeyore, at the very end of all the records.

If I remember all this correctly...

Tattered and Torn is pretty underappreciated. Has a really creepy sound.

Decent album, but Iowa is the only one I really like. I still listen to it from time to time. The Disasterpieces DVD is awesome, too.
