I am just really not digging the retro-pop movement at all. I guess that's why I thought 2009 was so lackluster.

its quite a departure, i mean its not like a totally new sound they've got, but its so much more expansive and retro-pop and summery and its got that much more like fleecy production you see from bands like grizzly bear. i think its easily a better record.
