Pretty good review. Great album. I like all the songs however. I really like Porcelain, its a nice change to all the faster, funkier stuff.
I don't like Scar Tissue, Otherside or Californication that much anymore cos I've heard them too many times. But Californication isn't as good as you said it was IMO. Thats one of the low points of the album for me.

Entwistle..thank you for explaining the greatness of Flea to those who have trouble hearing it...and i dont feel like quoting but whoever asked...its J-Bass...also Rudd i know what u mean when u say the first thing you listen to is drums because you play...same with me for bass...accept when listening to like Satriani or somethingThis Message Edited On 09.07.05

^To fellow jazz bass player: He was making fun of you, he wasn't asking. Sorry to tell you.
And sorry to rain on your parade, but I like Frusciante more than Flea, to tell you the truth.

^ to you...i know he was making fun of me but i could care less cuz he's being a d**k, but i kno some people read it and were like "hey i wonder..." so that was for him and them...also about wut u said...i think Flea is one of the all-time greatest bass players and definetly the best of our time...and i think the same for frusiante with his guitar..i dont tend to compare them because they make such amazing music together...like on the intros to Californication on the Hyde Park cd and slane castle dvd...nothing short of genius...frusiante is amazing...and the work they did with the Mars Volta was unbelievable too..truly the best bass/guitar duo for a band IMO..but neither "better" than the other so to speak

Of today's music, Flea and John ARE the best bass/guitar duo out there, IMO.
My intent wasn't to 'OWN' you, but just give you the benefit of the doubt. This Message Edited On 09.07.05

JBass has a good point but we all have different ways to listen to music. Personally im a bass player and i listen to the bass and Rudd13 listens to drums mostly. I disagree with some ratings such as Porcelain...I believe that is a beautiful song and it starts with the drums. Listen to the whole specturm of music and you can maybe get a wholesome review, i noticed most of them were based on how the drums sounded, anyways appreciate most of the review...good job

Great ****ing review man. I seriously need to get more into RHCP now! Also, the 'holy ****' meter is off the charts due to the super rad colors.
buttbuddy lol

If I had to decide who would screw you in the asshole, it would be either Rosanne Barr or Drew Carey. :thumb:

I wish I had this album. The only RHCP album I own is Blood Sugar Sex Magik. :upset:

Good album but nowhere near BSSM. Some real wonderful songs though, Scar, Other, Road are all beautiful. And the heavier stuff, World, Universe, Stain are all great. But just not BSSM style

Great review. I give it a 5/5, it's my favourit Peppers album.

BSSM is the best RHCP album. Don't get me wrong, this one is good, but BSSM has something that makes it that little bit better......I know what it is "SIR PSYCHO SEXY!!!!!!!!!!!"
