Mine? It's the reaper from Children of Bodom's Hatecrew Deathroll album cover.

Hmm. From what you two are saying, this album is very, very good. I will have to pick it up. Also, if I pick this up and enjoy it, what other recommendations do you have?

Glass Casket's We Are Gathered Here Today, along with the other two BTBAM albums. For even further listening, Fused Together In Revolving Doors by The Red Chord and Calculating Infinity The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Thanks. I thought Glass Casket were hardcore/screamo though....?

Or was that Glassjaw?

That would be Glassjaw, or something like it. Glass Casket is similar to these guys.

Glass Casket have mp3s on their website, including an mp3 of "In Between The Sheets", which I think is their best song.

I think this is a whole lot better the scilent circus and that was pretty damn good. I like how they go to more ambient things instead of the more emo things. It just sound slike a much smarter album. This Message Edited On 09.13.05

I just bought this album.. what do you mean by robot vocals?

I also dislike the singer's tendency to go "aeee" (if you get what I mean) at the end of his vocal lines. It sort of reminds me of how Brian Fair always starts his vowel sounds with the "W" sound.

You'll get used to it. It's not as bad as Brian Fair and the "w" thing at least.

Grrrrr. My brother stole this from me. Oh well, I guess it's not all bad though, because I get to buy The Silent Circus, as well as Glass Casket.

The only reason you don't like this band is because they are by far the heaviest band on Victory Records, because Victory has mostly popcore like Atreyu and Silverstein.

Killer album(and review). They've grown quite a bit since their debut s/t.

They sound like a robot. There is also a bit of it on Silent Circus.

Where's the black metal influence on this album? I'm not well versed at all in black metal.. but aside from the high-pitched screams I don't see how you could make a connection to black metal.
