bloc I listened to Close To Human today - it sounds like a sophomore album not a debut! I really liked the feel of it; though I rated this and it the same for carious reasons I really could see me liking that more after awhile, it's far more introspective.

No worries man. What I really like about that album is the raw production of it, especially the vocals. On this one, it seems as though the sound is just too polished.

And of course the melodies are awesome too.

Oh man I love the synths on this album but the music is just so depressing! =[

Glad to see we're keeping pace, I think this could be my favorite VNV; it's so upbeat and not-VNV'ish.

Just listened to about half of it and even though it really doesn't sound like the usual VNV it's really good. Although that first song is a complete waste.

This album really makes me wish for more industrial in this vein, for though I know a lot has been released/is releasing I don't know if this style will ever come back or be as fun.

I stopped looking mostly, was terribly discouraging. Though the new Unter Null album will be fun.

Yeah, it's only the releases from artists I am familiar with that get a listen. If it's an artist that I've never heard of (and seriously, this happens more often than I'd like to admit) I don't bother wasting bandwidth.

But even then, there hasn't been anything worth keeping for quite some time now.
