This is an okay, fun listen. imo Louder Now is the band's best effort.

Ok, I'm going to try & be serious & nice, and help the reviewer out. No matter how much you want to, or believe it to be true, do NOT make huge comments like you did in your first paragraph here.

You wanna know why? Because I did not read the rest of the review. Now that may seem short-sighted, but as you said in one of your comments Rationalist, opinion comes into play. BUT when you will have readers such as myself who feel they are completely opposite to you (ie: believe MCR's debut is their worst album), then what's the point of continuing to read?

In this case, it would have been fine to talk about TBS's debut & subsequent albums (I personally believe their debut is over-rated, but I would have kept reading in that case), but as soon as you brought the MCR argument into the equation; Crash... Bang... End of story.

you write pretty well. try not to get annoyed by ata, if you take note of his points, you will get even better.

i've only heard "louder now" and i thought that was pretty average.

wow you just got atavanhandled.
wow you just got atavanhandled.
wow you just got atavanhandled.
wow you just got atavanhandled.

also, "aural devolution" does not make any sense. Aural pertains to the ear's ability to hear
things, not the listener's ability to decide whether it is good or bad. Maybe if the album had poor
production and you couldn't hear it, or if you were trying to make a pun about TBS' previous record
("Louder Now") this would make sense, but as it is, you probably just typed "sounding" into
thesaurus your online thesaurus and thought this would sound cool...

edit for additional lulz: "tumultuous devolution into stagnancy, thus leading to abhorrent aural
exploits"

it's not hard to understand at all. Just about everybody can tell what you were trying to say. I'm just telling you that using the phrase "aural devolution" does not accurately translate to this... Why not just say something like 'they have regressed musically' ... ?

Wow, you're getting a metaphorical shit kicking here. I completely agree with you on most of the points made in this review, I felt let down by this considering how good they'd been up until this point.
