Pretty fucking bad even if the newer albums are better.

Missouri sextet Eatmewhileimhot! foregoes the metalcore of their debut EP for something more akin to A Day To Remember style pop-punk on 'All My Friends'. It better suits this Cristofer Ingle led side-project too, since it allows his poppier side to shine through on occasions. While still rather cliched & way too breakdown happy, this 5 track EP overcomes a poor opener with a succession of catchy tunes that feel genuinely fun & somewhat sincere. Unfortunately, it's a shame that you can't help but get the feeling that the heaviness is forced just to differentiate this outfit from Never Shout Never. Recommended Tracks: All My Friends & Screw the Standard.
