nice album, I don't care if musicians are "pretentious" or anything.

also, nice review, I guess I actually agree with you most of the time but I still enjoy this a bit more it seems.

@mitch: on purpose? Humph.... *storms out of room*
@mendigo: Yeah, I can get that, but this album isn't exciting enough to be so pretentious and so poorly put together.

Saetia has a few delicious tracks, but sucks for the most part.

Hot Cross is kindaaa cool.

But Off Minor is the most amazing of the trio.

And this album is beautiful, it just took me a while to get into it.

I luuuurves it.

Terrible noise is eh... eight, twelve, so this is our home, parts of six, and let the jazz band are the only great tracks. Three sucks, # sucks, country songs sucks, Nine sucks, and seven sucks.

And what qwe said. You and your flapjack avatar should be blasphemous somewhere else.

@Rationalist:

Dude, Country Song and Seven are awesome songs, so shush yourself.

And it's true. Other than Some Natures, Notres, Venus and Bacchus, and The Poet, it's an unmemorable album.

@Iluvatar: LTJBI is in no way an emo song. If it was a five track EP (the first three tracks, So This Is Our Home, and Eight) it would get a 4.5 from me, because the tracks aren't tedious, nor do they try to be so unique that it all comes across as one pretentious tedium that is unable to climax.

@pirate: Those tracks, Woodwell, Roquentin, THE SWEETNESS AND THE FUCKING LIGHT, One Dying Wish, Closed Hands, and like another five tracks.

I know, but when you use a term like "defining" it is implied that you love whatever it is that you are speaking about. I fyou were to ask me what a defining emo song was, I would say "Abandoned Corpse With Graffiti," "Non-Objective Portrait Of Karma" "The Sweetness And The Light," "Some Natures Catch No Plagues," "Conversations With Dr. Seussicide" etc. The only IWSMOFFY song even close to that list is "The First Word That Comes To Mind."
