Eminem clearly thought that the horror movie lyricism of his last album was the direction

rather than the “Beautiful” and “Underground” material.

i'm not sure I agree with that. I mean he said in press conferences and interviews etc that Relapse II

is going to be a totally diff direction than Relapse I had been. I think they were just shitty song

choices to put on the record in this case.

good review though man this looks horrible. "Forever" rules though

Well, it's only b-sides to Relapse, stop making this seem like more than what it is.

Much of this material didn't make Relapse for a reason, and Em just put it out to tide fans over for a little bit because Relapse 2 is coming out later than expected. He even admitted than a lot of Relapse was just "jokey" material, just a way to get back into the flow of rapping. He's been adamant that Relapse 2 will be much more serious and with less throwaway tracks. Plus I think that there's some material on Relapse (such as "Deja Vu") that will point to his direction on his next album.

As for this little EP thing, yeah, it's not that good. Nonetheless, "Forever" is catchy, even if it isn't a true Eminem song.

the fact that this thread is simply 6 different kids flaming eminem is just silly. refill is a large step in the right direction from relapse, even with the accent.

I heard somewhere that Relapse 2 was going to be more in the style of Marshall Mathers LP, if only.....
