I love Glass Casket because they actually include death metal in their sound instead of just trying to be br00tal. Their lyrics are phenomenal as well. I have no idea how a shitty band like Waking the Cadaver can be put into the same genre as these guys, but I guess that's the failings of genre-tagging.

The only bad thing about Glass Casket is their cheesy breakdowns. Luckily they don't have too many of them.

The breakdowns aren't too cheesy though, that's what I'm saying. I honestly think they're very well placed, plus they pump me the fuck up. I mean, the end of And So It Was Said...I'm about ready to punch someone in the face.

Also, no annoyingly over-used pig squeals. Adam's got some damn fine death growls.

they kinda focus more on the melodic side then the core side of this in DMD. solos are absolutely phenomenal in it

Desperate Man's Diary is amazing as well, thanks for the rec. I may review that one after it sinks in a bit more.

This is pretty much the best deathcore album out there.

I started writing 51 today, but I might not be able to finish it 'till well into next week. Got way too much stuff to do this weekend.
