I never get why people like Dallas Taylor over Spencer. Granted, he was an annoying sounding punk on TOCS, but he's become such a beast of a vocalist since then, only improving with each release. I've always found Taylor's screams annoying and repetitive.

I like them both for different reasons. New Spencer vocals > then old Dallas vocals though.

Yah when it comes to vocals Spencer is MUCH better.
Not sure Spencer's vocals would work on this as well though.
What makes this so good for me is the, kinda emo vibe, that I dont think Spencer would be able to pull off.

That's the main problem I have with Converge, it's just the same scream over and over and over again. At least Dallas throws some growls and range into the mix.

Good review. I read this and immediatly went and downloaded the full album, (I had only listened to and like When the Sun Sleeps and Alone in Decemeber previously) and wow, this is really good.

It was a lot of impulse and my newfound knowledge of mediafire, but if it makes you happy, go with it. But nah, review was really good and it was the catalyst for me downloading it.
