On Dashboard Confessional's 6th LP 'Alter The Ending', the Chris Carrabba led quartet continue to search for that elusive balance between their earlier acoustic style & the more recent full band sound. This Butch Walker & Adam Schlesinger produced album definitely leans more towards the latter, although the deluxe edition does come with a bonus disc of all tracks being played acoustically. For the most part, the catchy pop-rock melodies on offer are enjoyable, although the LP is front-loaded & the consistency doesn't quite match that of 'Dusk and Summer'. Recommended Tracks: Belle of the Boulevard, Get Me Right, Until Morning & The Motions.
