True to some extent. I still have the feeling that a full album's worth may be a bit much, but we may never know.
Ironically, Aus Idol is down to its last 2 at the moment & a not too dissimilar contestant to Kris Allen somehow scrounged his way to 3rd & was eliminated last week.

People that are surprised Kris Allen won are complete idiots. Honestly, why would anyone be surprised that a cookie-cut image poster boy, who sounds just like so much of today's bilboard music, beat a guy who sings like no one has for the past 20 years (lambert), and another guy who sings like no one has for 40 years (gokey). Think about who votes in these things you fools.
This message has been directed at anyone who was actually surprised Allen won.
Other than that ignorant 'surprise' statement at the beginning, this review was pretty decent.

Well, thanks for the last bit backwards Alex Trebek. I guess you have a point. I just thought the fact that Lambert made it so far (& past Gokey) had to count for something. I initially thought he would only get to around 5th or 6th spot & then he would annoy the oldies... When he made it to the final 2, I thought he could win it all.
