there's a bit of variation in mood as well - china mountain is far more subtle and not so starkly depressing or melancholic. it's really a matter of preference really, but i love both of them. i think the fact that TW has more material and a bit of a history of progression and maturation makes them a little more interesting, but then again, you could easily include lotte kestner within the overall history of TW, as a maturation of williams' personal style
