This band has always seemed like a poor cross between Thursday and Northstar. Very Generic but good review.

Everyone seems to like this band. So far, I havent met anyone who hates this band. I agree, they seem to be very generic

The Ides Of March is such a beautiful song. It always gets the best of me (No, I am NOT emo). Your Sword vs. My Dagger is a kickass song.

Emo has nothing to with this band at all....

Anyway they suck and stuff. Oh and BizzyD needs to go play with the traffic or something. This Message Edited On 12.07.07

even as I bare with alot of this genre this band never ever made a good sound except for oh ever so famous "Smile as you sleep" that slow part near the end... its pretty cool, other than that... pretty ... blah.

I'd consider this Post-Hardcore/Popcore.

Clearly not Pop-punk, thats more like Fall Out Boy or My Chemical Romance or some shit.

(Those are the mainstream crap examples, there are some good bands in the genre such as Brand New)

This Album was Kick Fucking Ass. I don't see how it is "pop punk". Who ever said that, they need to get slapped in the face for not knowing what good music is!!!!

I dont typically like "screamo" (lets call it that) but this album was done well and the riffs are actually kind of unique. I wouldnt want to listen to this very often but about 1 in every month, i just load it up =D

yeah, i agree. this is one of those albums that got me into what i listen to now. it gets tiring after a while though. i doubt i could listen to it all the way through.

and without silverstein, i doubt i'd like screaming in music. i wouldn't have progressed to the growl, much less the inhaled screams and shit.

This is a very poorly written review. Silverstein is not a pop-punk band, the album is not called "When Broken Isn't Easily Fixed," and "Already Dead" deserves a way higher score than 6. You also have countless typos littered throughout the review.

yeah this review kind of sucks. this is, like, a 3.6 for me. i like catchy stuff. even when it's generic. and besides this isn't THAT generic. This Message Edited On 01.23.09

These guys are the defintion of cliche. So predictable, so unoriginal and the lyrics are so very embarrassing. And to top it off, they are atrocious live. The bass player has to be the biggest unco i've seen trying to do 'rad' stage moves.
