Just edited out the "oxymoron" brackets, apparently by definition contemporary classical music can happen.

One of my favorite movies ever. Another great French film is La cité des enfants perdus (City of Lost Children) which, oddly enough, has Ron Perlman in it.

Very nice.
You know I still haven't watched the film like I said I would, that really is something I'm going to have to correct.

i am the opposite of what a lot of people have said here. i can literally take or leave amelie, the soundtrack on the other hand is one of the best OST's i have ever heard for ANY movie.

Not the biggest fan of the film (it's quite good anyway) but the soundtrack is a favourite of mine.
It won't show on my lists, even though I copied it from here...

Loved the film, and the soundtrack actually fits it really well. Even better, it's wonderful in and out of context.
Odd that it won't show on your list.

Well there's MANY things that I don't get artwork for here.
The database system needs some tweaking.
By the way I love how you descripted my relationship with this album.
Listened to it for the first time like when I was 11 or 12 years old.Fell in love with it.Never touched it again until a few months ago.
I listen to it quite a lot and I just love it think I will love it for the most part of my life.At least if nothing groundbreaking happens to me or my taste in music.

I replaced my original review with a concept one for the purposes of my contributor application. If I don't get the position, the original one will be restored.

I love this thing so much. Even writing a review of it made me happy. This week, I will watch this film.
