The review is pretty crappy but this album is pretty amazing. I dont understand why everyone is calling it "wanna be hair metal" because i love hair metal alot and this is nothing like it! hmetal songs r like 3 minute kinda poppy songs none of these songs r 3 minutes or pop... stfu

A few of the songs (especially Sieze the Day) just straight up sucked

I'm no A7X expert, (i've only heard STST, and am currently trying to track down WTF) but they used to be way better

If everyone that didnt like an album didnt rate them, then every album on this site would be considered great. But this album is really rockin, never read this review before now though - its pretty bad.

The fact you rate 10 out of 11 songs on this album as classic pretty much ruins this review for me. There are so many bands out there that can equal there standards, if not better it. Avenged Sevenfold didn't do anything new, innovative, breath taking or genre bending. They produced a solid album, yes, but something that will be listened to for years to come? Remembered as an inspiring musical genius? Hardly.

I hated this album at first because i was really into waking the fallen..but as i kept listening, it became more and more bad ass until it was all i ever listened to for a while..it's a shame this band had to release that crap they call their "self-titled album"
