You and Balls, Man... always have to be pissing in my Cheerios.

Aww, does Trey need a hug?

I've never really listened to this band, maybe I now will.

Poet, start with Brave Murder Day, that's probably their best. If you want a taste of their new style, though, Viva Emptiness is my rec.

I have to disagree with Crysis entirely ;) Brave Murder Day is kind of boring and overrated, and Viva Emptiness is good but this is better.

I don't know, Brave Murder Day is tied with Dance Of December Souls for my favorite by these guys. This album drags a hell of a lot more than Viva Emptiness too.

yeah... that first paragraph was really lame.

and the second one too.

But I guess the review was good anyways.

There are two excellent reviews describing what this sounds like musically. I don't think another discourse with the same general rating would add to people's reviewing experience of this album. I review Katatonia because they are personal to me. It is pointless to rehash what they already said, so I take this approach because it's beautiful imagery to me and also conveys what I personally feel about the album without degenerating into explanations about minor chords and root notes.

I have this with lots of other stuff, just haven't listened 'cause The Great Misdirect is having my attention ;P

Having only heard Forsaker I'm hoping the rest of the album has a similar feel to it, and I'm not talking about heaviness. Also I don't think the song is too similar to TGCD.

This and TGCD are tied as favorites right now but TGCD gets a higher rating because I've been playing it for over a year. Next line would probably be Brave Murder Day and Viva Emptiness.

I just can not get into this disc. I couldn't wait for it to be released,as I loved TGCD. Just seems to be boring.Perhaps I just bought into the pre hype.
