To balance it out? That still doesn't make any sense.
Why would you care?

Why would I not? I'll make my rating a 3 when it is balanced. Because I don't think Staind deserves all the crap you guys give them.

That's not how we play here at Sputnik. Cravinov, you hardly ever back up what you say, and your so aggressive and hostile all the time. I know you're new here, but you've pretty much pissed everyone off. Hell, I'm fairly new here. You can change your ways; it's not too late.

is it just me or has aaron finally smoked away whatever voice he had? he cant sustain shit anymore, even on a pro-tools made record. pathetic album
|
| |
ok, i cant stand this. cravinov, the rating system is based on what people think of the album, if people think the album sucks, then people think the album sucks, dont give it a score it doesnt deserve because YOU think it should be like that.
as for the album, definately not their best, but still enjoyable on some parts. his voice does seem very weak this time around. overall, not too impressive, but still decent.
|
| |
The reason Aaron's vocals suck now is because he doesn't smoke anymore.
And cravinov is obviously on several mind altering drugs.
|
| |
Actually, I'm striaght edge, or howvere you friggin call it. Staind is not my favorite band and Aaron Lewis is not my favorite singer, to get that straight.

the proper term is cold turkey, I think.
|
| |
Okay, it was one or the other.
|
| |
Fine, is 3.5 more sufficient?
|
| |
Straight edge is the correct term.
Cold turkey is when you quit a habit suddenly.
|
| |
^^ I guess it depends on where your from. WHere I live, it's straight edge.
|
| |
It doesn't matter where you're from. Straight edge means you're against drugs and never do any of them.
|
| |
Well, I feel smart.
|

Once upon a time, these guys wrote a pop song called "It's been awhile" and it was good. So good that it was used in a decent blockbuster movie. Hell, I liked it a lot in 2000 and it was one of my favorite songs for a while.
They need to do something different by now, every song sounds exactly the same. I'd give this album like a 1.5.
|
| |
Wrong. Staind IS 90% of the garbage out there.
|
| |
No matter how much we bash them, their probably sitting in a faqncy hotel room counting their money to take heed to our petty insults.
|
| |
Staind is just trying their best to exit the death of nu-metal, and seeing that half of their hits were half acoustic, they went that way. Plus, its hard to come up with new and good stuff five albums later, especially in a hip-hop centered world.Too Bad.
|
| |
I don't mind Staind all that much. I have all of their old albums from my eyeliner and big pants phase but in recent years they've gotten pretty boring.
I've only heard the first single off this album and didn't even notice it was new until the DJ told me so. I really don't hear any big change in their music at all, the only good change is that they don't hang around Limp Bizkit anymore. Actually that's about the best move someone can take in the music business these days.
|
| |
This album is certainly poor. They'll write some cool riffs in most of their songs but the overall flow of the album just makes me hate it.
