Take the best orgasm you've ever heard, multiply it by a 1000 and you're still nowhere near

I've only heard the singles from this band, and I love what I've heard, is the album to start?
|
| |
this the album to start*
|
| |
I think this is probably a good starting point. It's pretty straightforward and easy to get into.

This and Green are the best places

I will get it, after I listen to The Sound of Perseverance
|

Chronic Town, Murmur, Reckoning, Fables and Lifes Rich Pageant are the best R.E.M. albums.

Just bumped this up a notch, for it is amazing. Actually I had no idea you reviewed this Mike, so you'll get a late pos for the great work.

listened to murmur on spotify once. I probably wasn't really in the mood but it just came across as ok. will persist with it a bit though.

I always found Out of Time to be one of their worst. Maybe I need to give it more listens.

I haven't delved into their earlier era, once I'll have heard this a little too often, I'll probably go there.

yeah you should get into Out of Time, a great mix of catchy fun stuff and some really impressive, deep stuff like 'country feedback'. and texerkana is just plain awesome. I would review out of time if I knew more about the bands back catalogue : (
