eh, I think I made my point (not really because no one is learning anything but whatever), I'm probably not doing any more unless someone antagonizes, in which I'll do one in spite of them Seeing the community always getting mad because you talk badly about "hallowed" albums proves just how much of a joke we have become at this site. which is my point, social experiments are fun, and it's so easy to control people's minds here
Willie I can understand where you'd get that, however I spend just as much time on these as my others, and for the record I wish you would make fun of me more often

Disillusion also has this irking knack for having fairly nice instrumental sections, such as the intro to the title track, but then jump back to the metalcore influence, which completely destroys any atmosphere set in the worst way.
I think anyone who disagrees with this doesn't listen to metal. Once again, good review but I have a feeling you're going to somehow piss me off with a 2/5 for Blackwater Park; I can feel it! If this goes down, you're not coming to my birthday >: l

It's not a trend. The album is just what the review says it is and nothing more. My rating is inflated because I'm a sucker for shit like this.

4 people rating it 2.5 is not a trend

I think the review isn't badly written, but i would question whether you'd actually listened to the album or had any idea what a 'core' influence was.
I think the album is very good in places, excellent in one or two [Back To The Times Of Splendor chorus] and mediocre in most.
thanks for writing it though, i've now put this on my ipod as i'd forgotten it existed.

I think the review isn't badly written, but i would question whether you'd actually listened to the album or had any idea what a 'core' influence was. there's a few instances that sound like something american metalcore bands would do, I dont get why thats so hard to figure out

question fire, so the title track's main riff in the beginning didnt do anything to you? (not the intro, the verse riff)
