Yeah it's never a good thing.

So I was wondering did these guys disband and start another project under a different name?

nah, it says on their myspace that they're working on new material right now. if they've done any side projects, i haven't heard of them.

No, on the contrary. They have two HANL releases in the pipeline and I think one of those is not far from completion. It's amazing that they can churn out another album consider Deathconsciousness took five years, they run their own record label, and have numerous side projects on said label.

The booklet is interesting, but not essential to enjoying the album. I personally have trouble connecting the dots from the booklet to the album, though it sheds some light on some songs' lyrics like bloodhail.

This album is sweet, however, "Waiting for Black Metal Records To Come In the Mail" is better on Voids.

The kind of heavy that seems hopeless. The kind of heavy that makes you feel lost. That makes you feel alone.

I fail to see how this is a good thing.

Hmm. Okay, I like this. It's just that, 1. I don't really like 'industrial' music in general (Nine Inch Nails ugh) and the 'industrial' parts of this record usually happen to be my least favorites (like that grimy beat on songs like 'Telephony' that Downer alludes to in his Time of Land review; you know what I mean probably) and 2. It's too long / kind of a drag. Overall, there's some great stuff here. 'Bloodhail' is pretty masterful, as is 'Holy Fucking Shit: 40,000'.

most of disc 2 (waiting for black metal, holyfuckingshit, future, the closer) is really good while i conk out after the first two songs of disc 1

anyone think Bloodhail's bass line is sort of a slowed down version of Beck's main bass line in 'Minus' off of Odelay?? i thought it was pretty interesting ~_^
