Thanks Balls, I appreciate the compliment. I'm not a status symbol kind of guy though and I really don't see a difference between what I'm doing now and if I were to be a contributor for the site (minus the Contributing Reviewer tag underneath my name hahahaha).

Nothing changes other than having the tag which i'm sure can be an ego boost to some. (me in 2007). It's not really a big deal though.

this is pretty great, even though I don't care for Isis or Godflesh

Are you listening to this right now fire? The atmosphere is suffocating and I think thats what you will love about this. Kind of like how Leviathan makes you feel so uncomfortable.

That's just it Balls, I love coming to this site, discovering some new metal and also sharing my knowledge with other users. This could be a tighter music database if they would only clamp down on the new wave of trolls/ little pukes.

So I would just like to post this and say that this review strangely sounds like mine. Mind you, this is allmusic.com and most likely they posted this before me, however, I would just like to put this out there that my review is entirely from my thoughts. The only review I've read on this was from Decibel so far.

good review Karl, but noise metal really isn't my thing. I can dig some of it as background music, but other than that - i'll pass.

Metalstyles timeline of industrial metal.

2009 = Crossbreed

2010 = Ministry

2011 = Godflesh

2012 = Greymachine

scrap Ministry, i have heard a shitload of them and well, they are just snooze. Not bad, but boring. Will try out Godflesh though. And in 2009 still, you'll see

We will actually just see how your music tastes progress in the future ; ). Willie will tell you the same thing dude. I was exactly like you years ago.

I used to think that too. You haven't yet discovered the hypnotic nature of industrial though.

dude Ministry is just primitive industrial metal man. There isn't anything to grasp or re-think. Aka, i'll stand by my opinion

Fair enough for the time being. I will warn you now, you will hate Godflesh if that's what you think about some of the pioneers of industrial metal.

well, i guess we'll see about that. I'll try to listen to them during the next week. If i'm not able then i'll at least do it at the end of october.

Godflesh are the absolute definition of emotionless industrial metal (well, I've heard harsher buts for another day).
