Probably my least favorite LoG album besides NAG, but it's still pretty good. It also grew on me over time, I hated this when it came out (but AtPB was my first experience, so this felt like an attempt at commercialism to me). Descending is a pretty fucking excellent song.

And, yeah, both of those (SA, Epica) bands are so gimmicky that anyone could listen to them... I mean, liking metal isn't about exclusivity but seriously Sonic Syndicate is garbage and Sonata Artica are like dweewodowdwoewoeowdofiddlefiddlefiddleSOLOSOLOSOLODRAGONSDRAGONSDRAGONSFIDDLESOLOARARARAR
