I'm on the side that would classify this as a classic, I only got into the Smiths recently but this has since been one of my most played albums -- Cemetry Gates and Frankly Mr. Shankly being probably my two favourite tracks besides the classic There is a light that never goes out. The only song I didn't really like was the title track, but even that has grown on me.

Morrissey just has such an original voice and delivery, there's no one I've heard that sings like that and I for one love his lyrics.

@El Goodo: If you like these guys, check out The Divine Comedy. They aren't as good, but still pretty awesome and every bit as eccentric.
