Nice review.

Another decent Ghostface record, but nowhere near his best. When he gets this style right it can result in some of my favorite tracks of his (e.g. Josephine), but it goes wrong a few too many times here.

just downloaded it in about 2 minutes, gave it a quick skim...

basically what i was expecting, ghostface goin on all about lady problems for 14 tracks with soul-ish samples and slow joints... guys gota go back to his bank-robbin, coke sellin self from OB4CL and ironman and drop this stupid women love story shit

that's just what i think... the guys still got the rhymes and is sharp as a motha fucka, but he's gota change his mindset (and believe me i am considering the fact he just helped his boy rae lay down cuban linx 2)

so you want him to repetitively rap about a different topic instead of mixing the two up like he did in the past?

Acquiring this right now, I really like raekwons new album and I never really listened to any wu tang before. Excited to hear it.

i guess it's just not my kind of hip-hop. i mean, with beats as simple as the ones on cuban linx 2, the lyrics better be damn good, but they were pretty terrible imho

i'd rather listen to ghostface rapping about doing blow with college kids than his blown-out-of-proportion sex-life

Yeah I liked this album. It was a fun and easy listen. Rhymes are not up to par you fake superstar but it was a nice contrast to the darker stuff I usually listen to.
